About Sandy, Steve and the Farm...
We have been offering riding at the Little East River Farm for over 10 years,
and both of us have been riding or driving horses since we were quite
young. We have been training horses and giving riding lessons for many
years, and bring those experiences with us to make your time here safe and
enjoyable.
We are a friendly and welcoming "Ma and Pa" place, with a love for horses,
country living, and meeting people. We are happy to guide you through our
trails, teaching you some basics about riding, horses, and the local flora
and fauna as we go. We have well mannered, well-trained horses for you to
ride, and we enjoy helping you have fun with them. The atmosphere here is
relaxed, and we don't rush your ride, or your "start-up" time. We take out
single riders or groups, but our groups are small, and we don't mix you with
other people.
